Let Us Make Cake
New York City’s first cathedral, dedicated in 1815, was host to an immersive program of three-dimentional video, performances and music on May 7th, 2011 as part of the Flash:Light Festival. A collaboration of Materials & Methods and Bluewhale Studios, this mapped projection on the exterior of St. Patricks explores the notions of time passage, and ultimately transforms this historical façade into an architectural timepiece. As a technical sponsor of the festival, Bluewhale Studios also provided final video formatting, compositing, and production on the "Let Us Make Cake" 3D projection mapping on the New Museum.
